The Art School in Southampton hosted a sidewalk chalk drawing gallery on Canada Day. Kids and families were invited to draw their Canada Day art on the sidewalk for all to see. It looked like a beautiful quilt when it was finished. I asked permission of this girl's grandfather before shooting this artist in action. Not bad for Day One with the new camera!! We also went to the library book sale, walked around Fairy Lake and took in the fireworks on the beach.
