Day 37

Jeanine - This shot is inspired by all the women in my online photo class last month who took a picture of the hands of one of their parents or grandparents for the prompt about hands (I took the photo of me holding the saxophone for that prompt).  My parents came to visit for the weekend.  These are my dad's hands.  He is 80 years old and has been married to my mom for 55 years.  Amazing.  He, like everyone else in North America tonight, is watching the Superbowl.

Emily - Today we took a tour of the police station with Ian, he's been a cop for a really long time. My mom has been a lawyer for a long time too and she never had this tour before. My favourite part was going into the shooting range and picking up shell casings and the rare bullet.

  2. Jeanine, you have a beauiful photo of your Father's hands. I took a photo of my Dad's hand for the class and now I want to get my Mom's. That prompt was on of my favorites. I have always been intrigued by hands and all the photos in class were amazing...from the baby hands to the elderly hands!!
